So, after 44 years of wanting it, a marriage and divorce, bringing up three kids on my own, a serious medical incident, and a number of false starts, I have finally landed myself my dream job!
Starting Wednesday, I am a professional pilot!
While I have worked as an instructor previously, I don't count that position simply because the mob I was working for was dodgy AF.....and those in the know will know who I'm talking about.
There is now a career path for me - recreation instructing, joy flights, GA instructing, VFR charter, and finally IFR charter.
I'll be flying many different aircraft - Jabiru's, Warriors, Archers, Bonanzas, Aztecs (that reminds me, HRT....come for a fly! ), Travelairs, Barons, Navajos, and Chieftains. Might even get to fly the Super Decathlon and PC-12.....one day.
To say I'm stoked is a *massive* understatement!
I can now pretend to do it TAC style with the big boys!!
