You wouldn't want to be a Russian tanker, or any tanker in any Russian tank with an auto loader. Gunner and tank commander are basically sitting on the ammunition at the bottom of the turret without anything separating them from the ammo storage. You'd just hope that in the event of a penetration, the thing detonates and kills you quickly rather than a slow cook off and you burn alive from the arse up.
