Reported in the news today was a story of a fight between a pilot and his sole passenger in a light twin. Pretty desperate stuff, but all turned out OK. The young pilot managed to conduct a perfect forced landing in a paddock after fighting with his passenger (who was trying to take control of the aeroplane).

I guess it will come out why the 82 y.o did what he did, but it was outstanding airmanship by this young pilot to pull off this landing under pretty challenging circumstances. I heard the audio (recorded by ATC) on TV tonight and it was pretty full on.

It was reported on one station that the passenger may have had "medical issues".
