Checking in with a Postcard from UK

Hi there, I finished my coast to coast walk last week, the weather was kind enough for me to be able to do some alternative paths to the walk. The Lakes weather was again for the most part miserable for me except the Grasmere to Patterdale day where I was able to do a big diversion and scramble over Striding Edge (I had planned this for 6 months and actually had a few nightmares about it!) Anyway mission accomplished with footage from a head mounted go pro as a permanent memento.

Here I am at the top of Kidsty Pike the highest point on the walk

besides previously mentioned airshows I went to a model show at Driffield last weekend, my stash has grown incidently, Airfix Valiant 11 pounds on special at Argos, Revell DO27, 7 pounds ebay, 1/32 red arrow Hawk 8 pounds, 1/72 Airfix concorde 35 pounds, Signifer Grumman Goose 1/48 20 pounds, time for another cull when I get back to the ranch

Airshows, great scenic walks, cheap models - that's it, I'm moving to the Ol' Country!

Glad you're having a blast over there Wally! Thanks for the update.

Cheers

Adam
