Looks like we are finally getting serious about some decent fire bombers .
A Coulson C-130 fire bomber will be based at Avalon this coming fire season , and also a RJ-85 ( BAE-146 ) it's about time we got some decent stuff out here !!! ;) ;)

FINALLY!!!!!!!
Better late than never. I hope to Christ these things aren't needed but it is VERY reassuring to know that we have a couple of LATs locally based for this up-coming fire season.

Knowing what the mob in charge of such things are like, it'll be a long winded, expensive drawn out affair without any REAL research. After all the flogs have had their own agendas heard and millions spent they will come to no real useful conclusion except that fire bombers aren't helpful in "our" unique fire conditions

About time they got something big-ish.
Just looked at the Coulson C-130 on google images. A nice looking paint job. I wonder if anyone will do that scheme for next years expo.

If anyone is interested in the RADS tank for the C-130, let me know. An additional intake and exhaust for the APU is also included (but not shown).

Also I've been told to not put the body decal on in one hit. Best to split it at the thinnest point on the fuselage.
