The X-37B has just returned after 22 months in orbit doing who knows what. Possible it was testing/evaluating reconnaissance technologies? It's a very long time in orbit just for testing I think. It also appears to have a small jet engine for the landing, giving it a lot more flexibility in this phase of it's flight.
