Back to Reality

Ahhh - after 10 days soaking it up in Thailand (Phuket) I'm back to the reality of trying to find work, looking after kids, all the normal mundane stuff....

Had a ball though - from the flight over (Thai Airways) to the flight back - it was such a memorable trip.

At least I can get back to my modelling bench now!!

Lucky you - kinda!
Does sound like the go to get away and re-charge the batteries. Fingers crossed for you that work will come your way soon.

So, what's next on the bench? I'm fumbling around with 2 x 1/48 Yak-52's and started a Top Secret 1/32 project. Details on this will only be partially released over the next few months! 8-)

All the best

Adam

Love Thailand. Love Thai Airways. Going back there next year but on Jetstar. Only saving grace is that it's on a 787 which will be my first time on one.

On the bench right now, almost complete - is (surprise surprise) a Tigermeet Tornado. Next up will be another low flyer, from the Lechfield Tigers, coupled with a Fuchs Armoured Car, a hillside, and lots of trees - "hide and Seek" is the tentative title.

Also lined up is another Tornado - the Boelke 50th anniversary markings.

And after that - no, not another Tigermeet - I'm planning on building Gerry Andersons Thunderbirds 1 and 2, in their launch bays.

Busy time on my wqorkbench Adam.

Man you love those Tornado's. Mate of mine worked on them in Saudi (F.3's) for the RSAF - he was with BAE working as a Gunnie instructor there. I went there once for other work - shit of a place! He told me not to even take photos of the aeroplane gate guardians in front of the base - if caught, big trouble! Worst country by far I've ever visited.

The T-bird's sound AWESOME! Very much looking forward to seeing what you create, I'm a huge Thunderbirds fan - very much part of my building blocks growing up in the 60's - like many of us here I guess. :D
