Hi guys,
Good programme running at the moment on the Discovery Science Channel, (it's "Space" month)
The programme in question is all about the history and final delivery flight of the Shuttle "Discovery" to the Smithsonian Institute following her final mission. On again tonight at 2030.
If you have an interest in the Space Shuttle at all this is a "must see" doco

PS: I know I am getting old when I have seen the beginning and the end of the Space Shuttle era

Thanks Ray,

What's it called (not near a TV)? Is it a BBC or Smithsonian production?

Thanks
Tony

G'day Tony,
Not sure who produced it but it is called (I think) "Shuttle Discovery: Final Flight"

Bought this on DVD some time ago - pretty good.

So looking forward to NASA delivering the next class of deep space capable systems - Orion.

Test flight (unmanned) is scheduled next month. This is big, as it's testing the spacecrafts' systems passing through the Van Allen belt giving it a good dose of radiation.
