Do ya think perhaps my old mate Wedgie might be having a not-so-subtle crack at me and A/CAM
I always did admire his bravery and backbone, not to mention his intellectual superiority and brilliance ....good to see he hasn't changed.
Wedgie....if ya reading this, come on over mate, I will give you a complimentary FREE A/CAM membership
If ever there was a good reason to keep the A/CAM membership fee, this is it ....it obviously keeps a less desirable demographic at bay, (sorry for that big word Wedgie ).

PS: Thanks for the laugh Wedgie, and it is nice to know that you are visiting A/CAM regularly, although your continued infatuation with me is a little concerning
UPDATE: Wedgie's post deleted.....thanks to the AMI owner and moderators for your consideration and respect...much appreciated lads. Now...if you would only ban Wedgie permanently that would be great cause, let's face it, it's not as if he brings any value to the AMI site.

Let's not slag off at others please guys. Remember, once it's read it's there for ever for the reader and we don't want to start something we've been trying to stop both on AMI and here. Remember, there are sponsorship issues at stake here, and no one will want to see adverse comments that may make a sponsor turn and walk away.

For the record, the relationship between A/CAM and AMI is a good one. Many if not all A/CAM members are current/former AMI members and I think this is a healthy and helpful thing.
I will persoanlly always have the world of respect for AMI and it's contribution to the brotherhood of modellers and the hobby as a whole, (remember, many of us who are now good mates would not have met had it not been for our AMI association).
Yes....I got the arse from AMI but David did what he felt he had to do for the good of his site, sponsors, and membership, and now as a site owner myself, hey, I can relate to that, (especially finding myself in the postion of having to do the same thing on this site recently).
Andrew in particualr does an amazing job in effectively moderating both sites.....having him in this duel capacity keeps everyone on both sites in check and makes for a very harmonious relationship. When I originally asked Andrew to be an A/CAM moderator it was with the full knowledge, cooperation, and blessing of David Harvey. David was always part of that decision making process.
Yes....there was a momentary issue with an inappropriate post on AMI by one of it's members, but that has been swiftly dealt with by AMI site management...and for that I am grateful.
Conversley, should any inappropriate comments ever be directed at AMI on this site, they will immedietly be managed accordingly.
Finally, I wish to thank David Harvey for providing all of us over these many years with the great modelling site that is AMI....on that fact at least, Wedgie and I can agree
