Caribou photos from the Hunter Air Show last weekend.

Postby RHB785 » Sun Jul 12, 2015 11:44 am

Here are some photos I took of the HARS Caribou at the Airshow last weekend. The first one shows the Caribou on approach and also shows the whole point of camoflage. A DHC product above a DHA one.

Now one of her making a low slow pass with flaps and gear down.

One with the gear coming up. Notice the loadmaster's hand waving to the crowd.

The tail insignia of 35 Sqn.
Image
The Nose art. More medals than I have. Many more.
Image
Preparing to start the port engine.

Starting the port engine. A bit smokey there.

The Caribou taxiing out with a Cherokee in the foreground.

Unfortunately they no longer do the "wheelbarrow" manouvre. That's all for now. I'll post some more Hunter Airshow pics during the coming weeks.

Regards,
RHB.

:D didn't see the Aztec in the photo, is it hidden?

Now the P&W R2000 on the Caribou was basically only used on one aircraft the DC 4, do miss the sound of them turning base over my house though, but then I miss the sound of those R3350 and the scream of the Westinghouse W34 on Neptunes doing night touch n go's, now they were noisy beyond what any other jet has been before of since.
