Here's the pics I promised. This came out of the paint shop yesterday and looked pretty cool. I actually have worked on this aircraft (VH-TQM) in a former life and it's much shinier now than it was back then LOL I got a few pics yesterday but they were heaps better this morning due to the sun. All I have to do is figure out how to convert a 100 into a 300 and need someone to do the decals

Is this the thin end of the wedge for QANTAS Link ?
Is this the first turboprop operated by Jetstar ?

I think I have a spare Dash 8 in the stash. Just a matter of extending the fuse and a ditching dam under each wing. I'm pretty sure the 1/72 Hawkeye sheet has windows on it as well as regos so that bit is sorted. Just need the Jetstar decals. BTW the undercarriage legs are normal grey with the same silver as the fuselage on the leg fairings

Paul, don't forget the main undercarriage is slightly different in that the legs have a backward kink in them to stop the aircraft tail sitting when pax board and all go to the back, from memory it's moved back about 100mm, Capt Eric should know more.
Yeah I knew that mate having worked on 100/200/300's and this very machine in a past life If I did do the conversion, I personally wouldn't worry about it cos I don't reckon it'd be that noticeable in 1/72. The prop blades in the Hobbycraft kit would cause me more of a concern. I know the rivet counters wouldn't approve but then I don't build for them
