Hey Wally!

That's getting a little close to the fires it appears! Is this a second series, or have there been further fires? Where do you live in relation to these recent events over your way?
I lived through two bush fires as a kid living up in Warrandyte back in the late 60's. We evacuated twice and returned to a totally charred back yard. Life lesson # 67 - never build or live on a home built on a ridgeline with lovely views of a valley below in the bush!

hi akroadam..these were taken over several years.. I think the Squirrels go back to a fire in nearby bushland in 2007. The Squirrels were used at least until 2012, dunno if they are still around, not working at the airport anymore.

The bushland is about East of us, it is a fairly narrow band of bush and lots of houses and roads between us and it
