Didn't know Rex flew into Perth!

I had to check their network, and yep, they have intrastate services in WA and QLD these days. :o

My how they have grown! (They hail from my home town of Wagga Wagga - Kendell & Hazelton merger)

Thanks Wally. I've got a Canon 700d with the stock 16-135mm lens. It takes pretty good pics but I'd love a bigger lens for it.

Holy Mackeral!

Nearly $ 7000 worth of gear! No wonder your photos are FANTASTIC!

But begs the question how much does your Body Guard charge per hour to ensure you don't get clobbered and your Camera and Lens stolen?

Lol, My hobo appearance is part protection. I must admit I keep it very close to me in my travels, it gets pretty crowded and awkward in an airshow portaloo when I an carrying all this crap. It always goes with me as cabin baggage and it is a real pain in the arse getting it through security sometimes.
I always had reasonable cameras, but I started treating myself after I retired and started going to all these airshows. I only rarely take this combo out with me when walking the fells, it is just too damn heavy, I carry a lighter weight rig for this work. This combo will see me through to the "end" I think unless some new whizzbang technology comes out that is.

If you put "hobo" and "expensive camera" in Google these are some of the links!
