Grumman/General Dynamics EF-111A Raven

This is the Italeri boxing of the 1/72 Esci EF-111A kit. Built OOB except for deepening the canoe radome and moving the weapons pylons further outboard. I used Wolfpak decals for AF660016 which was the only EF-111 to claim an aircraft kill during Operation Desert Storm by manoeuvring an Iraqi Mirage F1 into the ground while trying to evade it.

I tried a wash for the first time in ages and almost messed the model up. I did not seal the decals before applying the wash which caused grief and damaged some decals forcing me to replace some of them with spares.
