Yep....Happy Father's Day to all the A/CAM dads out there!!. I hope you all got some good additions to your kit stash.
It's a beautiful day down here in Melbourne, so get out there and enjoy it with your families....or better still, get some time in at the model desk :D

Yep, Happy Dad's Day folks!

No additions to the stash, but as I have now more kits that I can build in my lifetime, no worries there!
Did get lots of stuff from the kids - hand made stuff from school and kinda - better than any model I could think of. Got the brekkie made plus a cup of tea! Off for a picnic lunch in this blazing blue sunshine later.

Cheers

I got a BBQ and a chiminea (for ambience..), so just spent the morning and part of the arvo setting it all up. Just having a smoko, then I'll tidy it all up :)
The bbq....there's a partially-built brick bbq, which I'm not inclined to finish off since I'm renting the place. Easier just to get a gas unit and sit it on top. The concrete laundry trough in the background once held a Mostera plant that was growing into the wall of the shed....Now it's dying..hehehe. The trough has been re-tasked as a beer chiller. One must have one's priorities right!
Image
The chiminea..probably not the best spot for it, but the remains of a Monstera plant are in the way..
Image
And the overall area...it's not very big - had a hard time getting the table in the right place....there's only a few inches either way that it fits and still allows the chairs to be moved for access/egress..
Image
Now to convince the owner to put up some laser-light on top to keep the rain out..

Are you sure you weren't playing helicopter rescue in the back yard again?

You did well today!

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's out there. Unfortunately I'm in TSV so didn't get to spend today with the family. Though I got a "Happy Daddy's Day" from my little man on skype so that made me feel heaps better tonight. So as I was in TSV, I had to spend the whole day over at Magnetic Is via the ferry which I can tell you was REALLY hard to take   Here's a few pics to show how hard I had it today

A couple of different beaches
