Congrat's to Three A/CAMers!

Postby Adam the Akrodude » Fri Sep 05, 2014 10:13 am

Visited the local newsagent recently and picked up the latest Model Art magazine to flick through. Lo and Behold in the Model Expo report are pic's of Knotty's Lear and Eric's Flying Pancake thingie. Well done lads - both of your respective modelling talents have been immortalised in print! Great work!

See post below acknowledging Fred's Do-24 article - which I must read now! Do-24's are one fine looking flying boat!

Cheers

Well done Knotty, Eric, and Fred.....good to see the efforts and influence of some of our A/CAM "regulars" in this month's Model Art magazine...Australia's premiere model magazine and a respected sponsor of our site.
Keep up the good work lads.

D'oop!

Looks like I better go back and actually buy the mag rather than be a cheap skate and browsing in the newsagent! Apol's and congrat's to mastermodeller and fellow A/CAMer Fred on his Do-24 article! :D

What you don't subscribe Adam? Even though the content of the feature articles is not always my cup of tea I enjoy getting my 10 issues a year in the mail to quietly peruse over a cup of tea.

i might even submit something to Frank with an airline flavour. just need to finish something and take decent pictures along the way.

Hi Ray

Pretty good suggestion - will certainly consider it. It's a pretty good modelling magazine for sure.

Cheers

Well done those three and a heads up that AGW (Antoney WILKINSON) and I should be in the next edition of Model Art with our Memphis/Melbourne Mirage article on the High Planes 1/72 Mirage IIIO and IIID with I believe a cameo build of my son Chris' Mirage as well.
